Emergency Pet Care Tip: Heat Stroke

If your dog is suffering from a heat stroke, immediately remove him from any exposure to the sun or a hot room. Rub him down with cool water until his body temperature begins to decrease. However, lowering your pet’s body temperature too fast can be dangerous. As a result, avoid using ice-cold water. Next, take your pet to see a veterinarian.
