Golden Retrieves as Pets

There is no doubt that Golden Retrieves make great family pets. If you’re considering adding  one of these dogs to your family, here are a few basic facts:

Lifespan: They generally live 10-12 years.

Personality: This breed tends to be outgoing, friendly and active. They are great with kids and require plenty of companionship.

Medical issues: Goldens are highly susceptible to hip dysplasia and skin conditions.

Training: These dogs are extremely intelligent, easy to train and eager to please.
