When Puppies Are Teething

Most puppies hit the teething stage between 5-9 months of age. If you don’t want to find your shoes, furniture or slippers destroyed, be sure to provide your puppies with items to chew on. If you do discover your puppy chewing on something other than his toys, firmly redirect him to the appropriate object. With consistency, your pup will learn what is acceptable and unacceptable for him to chew.
